Women in Art ‘26 is an open call juried show for all gals, whether or not they consider themself royalty in the art world! Show dates are March 7 until April 18, 2026. All media welcome. All work must be original and created by the participating artist: no AI, no kits. This year we are breaking with tradition and awarding prizes, among which will be a juror’s choice award by our guest juror Erin Riggi.
Erin D. Riggi is an educator, artist, and arts advocate whose work bridges studio practice, public scholarship, and curriculum leadership. She serves as Visual Arts Department Chair and full-time faculty at Greensburg Central Catholic High School, and as College in High School Faculty through Seton Hill University. An accomplished speaker, Erin has lectured on topics including Abstract Expressionism, religious iconography, and the cultural perception of women in art. Her creative and curatorial work has been featured in several exhibitions throughout the region. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, and approaches her work through a philosophy of servant leadership, empowering students and communities through meaningful artistic engagement.
