Juror: Erin DiRiggi
Erin D. Riggi is an educator, artist, and arts advocate whose work bridges studio practice, public scholarship, and curriculum leadership. She serves as Visual Arts Department Chair and full-time faculty at Greensburg Central Catholic High School, and as College in High School Faculty through Seton Hill University. Her career spans K–12 and higher education, with over a decade of experience developing arts programs that foster creativity and academic growth. An accomplished speaker, Erin has lectured on topics including Abstract Expressionism, religious iconography, and the cultural perception of women in art. Her creative and curatorial work has been featured in several exhibitions throughout the region.
A recipient of the National Liberty Museum’s Teacher as Hero Award and the Pennsylvania Art Education Association’s Outstanding Secondary Art Teacher of the Year, Erin is recognized for her innovation, leadership, and advocacy. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, and approaches her work through a philosophy of servant leadership, empowering students and communities through meaningful artistic engagement.
Ground Rules:
Application fee is $30
Artists may submit up to three (3) artworks.
Artists must be 16 years of age or older.
All media welcome. 3-D works must not exceed 36 inches or 25 lbs and must be ready to hang. 2D work must rest on a sturdy base.
All art works must be original . No kits or reproductions. No AI.
With regard to content, please be respectful of community standards.
Artwork must be delivered and picked up in person: NO SHIPPING.
General rules for work that is accepted into the show:
Artists MUST be able to both deliver and pick up their work at the designated dates and times. Work must be delivered and picked up by a person. NO SHIPPING.
Upon delivery all work must be ready to display: 2D work must be wired with adequate gauge wire and have secure frames (if used) with strong joints. 3D work must be stable. Labels must be complete with artist’s name and contact information and attached to the back of 2D work and the bottom of 3D work.
Work must be accompanied by a consignment agreement, which will be provided to the artist when notified of acceptance.

Timeline:
November 4 until January 24: applications accepted
February 7 thru 10: artists notified of acceptance
February 27 - 28 (10 am - 3:30 pm): drop off artwork at You Are Here, 406 Clay Avenue, Jeannette PA Note: Artwork must be delivered and picked up in person: NO SHIPPING.
March 7: exhibition opens; opening reception 6 pm
April 18: exhibition closes
April 24 - 25 pick up artwork (10 am - 3:30 pm). Seriously. Artwork not picked up will be considered abandoned and become the property of You Are Here

2. Hit either the Paypal or Square button to pay $30 application fee. (Fee may also be paid by check, made payable to You Are Here, directly to You Are Here, 406 Clay Avenue, Jeannette, PA 15644. Works will not be reviewed unless registration fee has been received.
3. Submit via email to yah406arts@gmail.com up to three (3) entries in the form of high quality jpg images. Each image must be accompanied by the artist’s name, title of work, medium, size, and price (or NFS) Email to yah406arts@gmail.com
