June 22 - August 3

To qualify:

Artists must be 18 years of age or older.

Fee is $20 for up to two (2) submissions.

All media accepted, but 2-D works must not exceed 24x30 inches and 3-D works must not exceed 25 lbs. and must rest on a sturdy base.

All art works must be original and created by the submitting artist within the past 6 years. No kits or reproductions.

Work must not have been previously exhibited at You Are Here.

general rules when work is accepted:

Artists MUST be able to both deliver and pick up their work at the designated dates and times. Work must be delivered and picked up by a person. NO SHIPPING.

Upon delivery all work must be ready to display: 2D work wired with adequate gauge braided wire is recommended; secure frames with strong joints; 3D work must be stable; labels must be complete with artist’s name and contact information and attached to the back of 2D work and the bottom of 3D work.

Upon delivery, work must be accompanied by a consignment agreement, which will have been provided to the artist upon notification of acceptance.

You Are Here sales commission is 30%

Timeline:

May 18: application deadline. Register and pay fee as directed below, then submit for jurying (300 dpi jpeg image accompanied by artist’s name, title of work, year work was created, medium, and dimensions to yah406arts@gmail.com)

June 1: artists notified of acceptance

June 14 & 15: drop off artwork at You Are Here

June 22: opening reception

August 3: exhibition closes

August 9 & 10: pick up artwork

TO REGISTER:

1. Complete the form below and hit submit.

2. Hit either the Paypal or Square button. When you send your fee, please be sure to include your full name and that the money you are remitting is for BTS.

3. For $20 fee, submit up to 2 entries for jurying. Each entry must be in the form of a 300 dpi jpg image accompanied by the artist’s name, tile of work, year work was created, medium, dimensions and price (or NFS value) and sent to yah406arts@gmail.com.
