In Memorium: Tribute to Toni Naponic

Tony Naponic, born in Adamsburg, PA, in 1954, gained renown as a painter in the 1980s. Three of his works hang at the Art Institute of Chicago and he exhibited throughout the Midwest, in New York City and the Pittsburgh area, and in Kansas City (where he was educated) during his lifetime. He left us too soon, in 2003, at the age of 49.

Mr. Naponic's beloved niece has become the guardian of much of his work and will allow us to host some of it in a memorial exhibit on view December 6 and continuing over the holidays and the month of January.  Plan to stop in and see his exuberant abstract and figurative paintings while they are at YAH! A closing reception is planned for February 14 when you can learn more about Mr. Naponic’s life and legacy.

Keep an eye out for more details about this show in our December newsletter.
